After going here many many times over the years today will be my last visit the food is amazing the staff today were not. One lady member of staff started shouting at us and became very defensive after getting our order wrong!!!! Like it was my fault I would loved to have complained the manager unfortunately she was the manager. Terrible terrible customer service and I will not return

Nothing wrong this place really but if you have sensory issues it can get rather loud at lunchtime. But then again you can eat outside with chickens. Food 5* staff 5* chickens 5* lol.

Went on a rainy day, so not crowded, this is a far better place to eat than just up the road at the World's End as it has a more varied menu
and staff a little more welcoming. (Would have scored higher for service but youngsters unsure of themselves seemed afraid to say anything) like hello.
Unlike World's End, bread was fresh not frozen and no cobwebs in the cafe area.
Wheelchair accessibility: Really easy access it seems, but what do I know I am able bodied, entrance doors to shop may be a problem for some but otherwise people in wheelchairs that I saw were able to get around easily as plenty of space.

Reducing my review score from 4 stars to 1 star. Sadly the food standard has gone down since my last visit. The ham was gristley and fatty, and not really a slice, more like a chunk of gristley, fatty unpleasant ham. Very disappointing meal. When I mentioned this to staff, they just said "oh", didn't apologise, didn't offer to resolve the issue, didn't offer a goodwill gesture, nothing. Dreadful customer service. Must do better.

Old style garden centre with all the stuff you really want to buy at a garden centre. With a great no frills Cafe attached. Served up nice food and a mug of coffee in pleasant surroundings. It's not huge and it's pretty popular on a week day. There is outdoor seating and a grassy area as well as some ducks and poultry to look at.

2nd time I've eaten here and have not been disappointed either time. We went with a group of 4 and everyone was very pleased with their food. 3 x medium breakfast and 1 x vegetarian breakfast. Good quality, attentive service, fast delivery of food and very good prices. Highly recommended 😊.
Vegetarian options: Very tasty even for a meat eater.

Very nice tea room.
A good menu available.
As you enter you have to read the sign just inside the door.
Basically, you find a table. Note the number. Order at the counter with your menu. Then pay for the food or drinks.
Nice friendly staff.

Lovely breakfast served with friendly staff. Lots of items on offer for your gardening needs. Fun place to see some fish and for purchasing an aquarium. Very easy place to find. Would definitely come again if travelling through Taunton and wanting g a good breakie.
